ERROR: Unable to create SAX parser

Hi
I am new to FOP and try to create a pdf file from "sample.po" and got this error message. Could someone tell me what's wrong with the code please.(I'm using FOP version 1.6) The java file attached and the error/messages as follows:


Task FOP 1.0 [dev]
converting file simple.fo to test.pdf
using SAX parser org.apache.xerces.parsers.SAXParser
org.apache.xerces.parsers.SAXParser is not a SAX driver
Task Fop - ERROR: Unable to create SAX parser
java.lang.NullPointerException

 at pdf.CreatePdf.execute(CreatePdf.java:147)

 at pdf.CreatePdf.main(CreatePdf.java:179)

Exception in thread "main"

It looks as if Fop doesn't find the sax parser, in other words: check 
your classpath, whether xerces.jar is in it.
