[GSoC 2026] Inquiry regarding "Support database backup to cloud storage" (GSOC-276)

Hi Kvrocks Community,

My name is Shanuka, and I am an Information Technology undergraduate with a
strong background in C++, Cloud Infrastructure, and DevOps.

While reviewing the previous GSoC ideas list, I came across the
project *"[GSOC][Kvrocks]
Support database backup to cloud storage" (GSOC-276)*, which appears to be
unresolved.

*Is this project still a priority for the community in 2026?*

I am highly interested in championing this feature, as I have relevant
experience with C++ and Cloud SDKs (AWS S3/GCS). If this project is likely
to be available for GSoC 2026, I would love to start exploring the codebase
and drafting a proposal immediately.
