Failure in php processing
Hello everyone
I've encountered an annoying and niggly problem which I hope you can
help me in...
I've just installed apache (2.0.36) and PHP (4.2.1) in a Linux Box
(RedHat 6.2) and have followed the instricions correctly. I adjusted
the default index page as index.php and set the mime type and if I
access http://www.mysite.com/index.php I get the web correctly....
However! if I try to access http://www.mysite.com/ all I get is an
output of the php code of index.php
Any hints? error_log has nothing to say...

In my httpd.conf I have
<IfModule mod_dir.c>
<IfModule mod_php3.c>
<IfModule mod_php4.c>
DirectoryIndex index.php index.php3 index.html index.shtml
</IfModule>
<IfModule !mod_php4.c>
DirectoryIndex index.php3 index.html index.shtml
</IfModule>
</IfModule>
<IfModule !mod_php3.c>
<IfModule mod_php4.c>
DirectoryIndex index.php index.html index.shtml
</IfModule>
<IfModule !mod_php4.c>
DirectoryIndex index.html index.shtml
</IfModule>
</IfModule>
</IfModule>
I would imagine you need something similar. At least a
DirectoryIndex index.php index.html
