[users@httpd] Not terminated cgis

I have cgi's that sometimes don't terminate because they have some
programming bugs. Is there any way Apache could kill this processes
automatically for example after 5 minutes?
I know I coul reprogramme these cgis, but I want to avoid it if it is
possible.
