[jira] [Commented] (INFRA-12484) Apache CouchDB Code signing access

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-12484?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=15434503#comment-15434503 ]

Mark Thomas commented on INFRA-12484:
-------------------------------------

The code signing service offers code signing for the following:
- Windows binaries
- Java (JARs and applets)
- Android (applications)

You are correct we have no central signing service other formats.

There will be a little back and forth as we get things set up. We initially set up one PMC member (Joan in this case) as the primary contact who then has to create accounts for the other PMC members and infra so we can more easily monitor the service - particularly how many credits we have left.

I'll kick off the process now and I will update this ticket as I go.

> Hi there, the Apache CouchDB PMC would like access to the code signing service for its Windows CouchDB releases. (Our primary release artefact is a UNIX tarfile; sadly, this cannot be signed by the service, correct?)
> We'd like access to both the web-based GUI and the SOAP API if you please.
> Joan Touzet (@wohali) will be acting as the Windows release manager, with Dave Cottlehuber (@dch) and Jan Lenhardt (@janl) as backup. All three are PMC members.
