ant 1.1 doeesn't take

Hi,
 
I don't know if this problem have been fixed or not. When I call ant as a
task, it doesn't take antfile except the default, (unspecified in the tag)
xml file. It give me error say that illegal charcter "&#x3e;" (>) at end of
xml declaration.  It seems to be a parsing problem.
