Disable the pointer during the meeting

Hi everyone, there is an option or a way to disable the pointer to normal
user in a room with o.m. 2.2?

I found only this:
http://code.google.com/p/openmeetings/source/detail?r=2850# but i think is
too much old and is not a simple way.. There are some alternatives?

tool bar with the pointer can be hidden for the normal user
this will require code modification and recompile
