WSDL And SOAP

Hi,

  I havent gone through WSDL spec, having read the SOAP spec, I understand
the basic use case of SOAP, to provide a vendor/platform neutral way of
invoking a service/api and passing arguments. What are the other features
WSDL provides as compared to SOAP.
