When annotations are shown for a file in the working copy, and in the annotations popup (context menu) the action "Show Annotations for previous Revision" is selected, another document tab opens with a read-only view of the file's previous revision (e.g. "Foo.java @ 123") and its annotations. Now, when selecting Show/Hide Annotation from the Team menu, this is not performed on the current view, but on the original file. Note that this is in contrast to the "Hide Annotations" item in the context menu. One consequence is that after hiding the annotations in the read-only view using the context menu, there is no way to get them back in that view, because the Team menu item does not work on the view.
