How can I disable/remove ListenerManagerShutdownThread shutdown hook thread?

Hi,

Apache Tomcat 7.0.28
Axis2 1.6.1

When I stop my web service, its WebappClassLoader is stuck into the PermGen Space of Tomcat.
The reason of problem is the ListenerManagerShutdownThread shutdown hook thread.

How can I disable/remove this hook thread?

Should I use the ListenerManager.setShutdownHookRequired(false) method in AxisServlet.init(ServletConfig sc)?
