Error Handling & Soap

Hi there,

Is there a default standard for Error Handling in
Service based architectures such as the one promoted
by SOAP.

Ex: If we consider the Address Book example provided
in the samples and add a "addEntries" method whose
input would be a collection of addresses. Now suppose,
every address has to be validated before it is
published in the address book. The validation process
may check that the Zip Code,Phone number, and country
codes are all valid.
In case of multiple errors (Zipcode of 4th entry is
not valid and Country code of last entry is not
valid), what kind of error message should be sent back
and with what detail level. It would be nice to have a
detailled list of all errors , client side, to avoid
multiple calls.

What are the standard promoted by SOAP for this kind
of error handling.

Thanks in advance,

    John Wilson.
