One of the things I was half hoping to get from Jetspeed was an end-user
content creation/management system - something like MS Sharepoint.  Is
anyone looking at creating a suite of Jetspeed portlets to handle such a
beast?

An example would be a Table portlet.  A user with the appropriate
permissions could define a table of x rows by y columns,  Titles could be
filled in, the content type of each cell could be specified (text, URL,
image, etc.).  Then a user with different permissions could be assigned the
job of maintaining the table - adding and changing the content of the table,
but not the structure.  General users would just see a Table filled with
useful information.

I'd expect there to be similar portlets for files, calendars, announcements,
HTML, etc.
