[jira] [Resolved] (BUILDS-96) Install latest JDK 8 (update 45) on jenkins slaves

Andrew Bayer resolved BUILDS-96.
--------------------------------
    Resolution: Fixed

I've added JDK 1.8.0_45 to the list of JDKs you can configure in a Jenkins job, and moved the latest1.8 JDK to point to 1.8.0_45. This is all in the Jenkins job configuration - if you're not using Maven/Ant build steps, you'll need to use the Tool Environment plugin and check the box for the JDK you want installed and added to your environment, and then use that environment variable in your PATH.

> We're currently tickling some JDK 8 compiler issues that exist in the latest 1.8 version on jenkins slaves (update 11), since fixed in the latest version (update 45). Is it possible to make update 45 available on jenkins slaves?
