Hi,

Tephra was using git-flow branching model before moving to Apache Incubator. Hence develop branch was the default branch in git. We decided to leave the default branch as-is during source code import to Apache git.

Later, Apache Tephra community decided to go with a simpler master based branching model [1]. This involves having master as the default git branch. Can we make master as the default git branch for Apache Tephra?
