DO NOT REPLY [Bug 45339] New: httpd (no pid file) not running

After competing a fresh install of gentoo 2.6.25 r6 and following the
directions on http://gentoo-wiki.com/Apache2_Install, i seem have a problem
with the http daemon.  

Apache starts without error, will not serve web pages and when stopped gives
this error  "httpd (no pid file) not running".  Firefox gives this error -
"Error Code 10061: Connection refused"

So your httpd did not start. As Bugzilla is no user support forum, but for
reporting bugs please ask your question on the users mailinglist. If it really
turns out to be a bug please come back here and reopen the report.
