[jira] [Commented] (GROOVY-11069) Regression: POJO on nested classes

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GROOVY-11069?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=17726031#comment-17726031 ]

Paul King commented on GROOVY-11069:
------------------------------------

We might need some more context. When I take the example at:

https://github.com/apache/groovy/blob/master/src/test/groovy/transform/stc/POJOTest.groovy#L49-L68

I see this at ClassGen stage in the GroovyConsole AST browser:

{code:java}
@groovy.transform.CompileStatic
@groovy.transform.stc.POJO
public static class Outer$Inner extends java.lang.Object {
    @groovy.transform.Generated
    public Outer$Inner() {
    }
    public java.lang.String lowerProp() {
        return Outer.prop.toLowerCase()
    }
}
{code}
 {code}

>                 Key: GROOVY-11069
>                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GROOVY-11069
>             Project: Groovy
>          Issue Type: Bug
>          Components: Static compilation
>    Affects Versions: 4.0.11, 4.0.12
>            Reporter: Christopher Smith
>            Priority: Minor
>
> The case fixed in GROOVY-10691 (@POJO applied explicitly to a nested class) is no longer working as of 4.0.11 and 4.0.12; the nested class once again {{extends GroovyObject}} and has the meta weight.
