Henk Penning commented on INFRA-1968:
-------------------------------------

Hi Popovici Ionut,

I looked at the apache.org rsync logs, and your mirror ;
I think your cronjob is bad ; each day, for some hours,
you rsync every minute :

2009/04/17 09:00:02 [14923] rsync on apache-dist from unknown (195.88.60.3)
2009/04/17 09:01:02 [14928] rsync on apache-dist from unknown (195.88.60.3)
2009/04/17 09:02:01 [14934] rsync on apache-dist from unknown (195.88.60.3)
2009/04/17 09:03:01 [14935] rsync on apache-dist from unknown (195.88.60.3)
2009/04/17 09:04:02 [14936] rsync on apache-dist from unknown (195.88.60.3)
2009/04/17 09:05:01 [14939] rsync on apache-dist from unknown (195.88.60.3)
2009/04/17 09:06:01 [14941] rsync on apache-dist from unknown (195.88.60.3)
2009/04/17 09:07:02 [14948] rsync on apache-dist from unknown (195.88.60.3)
2009/04/17 09:08:02 [14949] rsync on apache-dist from unknown (195.88.60.3)
2009/04/17 09:09:01 [14950] rsync on apache-dist from unknown (195.88.60.3)
2009/04/17 09:10:02 [14953] rsync on apache-dist from unknown (195.88.60.3)
2009/04/17 09:11:04 [14955] rsync on apache-dist from unknown (195.88.60.3)
...

Please check your cronjob ; it probably starts with '*' (which means 'every minute').
Please change that to a number between 0 and 59 (the minute in the hour, when
your cronjob runs) ; soon.

Thanks,

Henk Penning
