[jira] [Created] (SMX4-1229) Create a spec bundle for
javax.ws.rs-api 2.0-m10
Sergey Beryozkin created SMX4-1229:
--------------------------------------
Summary: Create a spec bundle for javax.ws.rs-api 2.0-m10
Key: SMX4-1229
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SMX4-1229
Project: ServiceMix 4
Issue Type: Task
Components: specs
Affects Versions: specs-2.0.0
Reporter: Sergey Beryozkin
Fix For: specs-2.1.0
javax.ws.rs-api-2.0-m10 is the latest publicly available version of JAX-RS 2.0 API and can be considered being very close to the final 2.0 API.
Similarly to the way JSR311 API (svn.apache.org/repos/asf/servicemix/smx4/specs/trunk/jsr311-api-0.8/) is close to the final 1.0 API, javax.ws.rs-api-2.0-m10 is equally close to the final 2.0 API.
Having this spec bundle introduced is important for CXF (or other framework) users to start working with JAX-RS 2.0 in OSGI.

Yup, it's what I did for the artifactId. I'm testing it, command, and deploy a first SNAPSHOT.

Sergey Beryozkin commented on SMX4-1229:
----------------------------------------
I guess the name of the artifact should be
'org.apache.servicemix.specs.jsr339-api-m10'
this should be consistent with the name like
'org.apache.servicemix.specs.jsr311-api-0.8'
Once JAX-RS 2.0 gets final we can do
'org.apache.servicemix.specs.jsr339-api-final'
or
'org.apache.servicemix.specs.jsr339-api'
etc...
