Problems with login under new roles in tdk.

I am playing around with turbine to use it for one of our application
development. As an experiment we modified the example application in the
tdk in order to create a new role called "agent". We are unable to login
using this new role . The only login that works is turbine-root. we
changed the 'SecureScreen' methods to check for the agent role instead
of the 'turbine_root' role, and that hasn't helped.

 

Could you please point to the possible reasons why this may be
happening.
