[jira] [Created] (LOG4J2-2349) CassandraAppender does not write
according to buffer size
Ludek Suchanek created LOG4J2-2349:
--------------------------------------
Summary: CassandraAppender does not write according to buffer size
Key: LOG4J2-2349
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LOG4J2-2349
Project: Log4j 2
Issue Type: Bug
Components: Appenders
Affects Versions: 2.11.0
Reporter: Ludek Suchanek
According to documentation
[https://logging.apache.org/log4j/2.x/manual/appenders.html#CassandraAppender]
, log should be written when bufferSize is reached. The buffer is cleared, but the
batchStatement in CassandraManager does not seem to be reset, resulting in accumulating the statements foreverer ( or until Casandra exception for batch size limit ) .
