Patches

Hi,

We have a few patches which we're hoping to tidy up and get accepted
over the next couple of months.

seems quite unpleasantly magic, but it works. Note that
LibreOffice/OpenOffice seem to get this wrong too: editing an XLSX with
comments and re-opening it in Excel results in the comments all turning
into arrows.

For the rest of our bugs, we're aware that we need to supply tests to go
with patches, or in some cases, supply entire patches. Expect to see
some activity Real Soon Now.
