Troubles compiling Mesos 0.21.0 with G++-4.7

Hey,

I've just tried to get Mesos 0.21.0 compiled and up and running for a master node and am running into compiler errors around g++ 4.7.

The configure phase is not passing with the following output - https://gist.github.com/tarnfeld/de177c0948e82cc2b6bf.

I've been compiling mesos 0.19.1 fine with this environment, so I was wondering if anyone would be able to detail the changes (if any) that have been made, and the new requirements. I'm hesitant to upgrade/downgrade GCC/G++ if that's not the issue.

It might also be useful to document these environment compatibility changes in the release notes or on the blog to make life simpler for mesos users.

Cheers,

Tom.

Posted by Dominic Hamon <dh...@twopensource.com>.
We dropped support for g++-4.7 as we started rolling C++11.

I thought we emailed about it on dev but I'm sorry if t wasn't clear. 4.4
is still supported (for now) and 4.6, and 4.8 is the best supported.
