> The camel-openai component only reads message().content() from the chat completion response. Thinking models like Qwen3 and DeepSeek-R1 return their chain-of-thought reasoning in a separate reasoning_content field in the API response. When the model spends its entire output budget on reasoning, content comes back empty and downstream steps fail silently with no way to access the reasoning output.
