Xsltc treats special characters different than xalan.
Summary: Xsltc treats special characters different than xalan.
Product: XalanJ2
Version: 2.3
Platform: Sun
OS/Version: Solaris
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: Other
Component: Xalan-Xsltc
AssignedTo: xalan-dev@xml.apache.org
ReportedBy: chunsheng.chen@verizon.com
Xsltc treats special characters different than xalan. Below is the test case:
When applying stylesheet test.xsl to test.xml using xalan and xsltc
respectively, we get different results:
(with xsltc)
> java org.apache.xalan.xsltc.cmdline.Transform test.xml test
<a href="javascript:addToMyCustomer
(&quot;10000&quot;,&quot;&quot;)"></a>
(with xalan)
> java XmlTest test.xml test.xsl
<a href="javascript:addToMyCustomer("10000","")"></a>
There should be a unified outcome for any xslt processor.
