I try to use the latest version of kylin built from master branch and I follow your steps, but I get the request url like "http://cdh-client:7919/kylin/api/jobs/overview?jobSearchMode=ALL&timeFilter=2" . it don't contain the param "projectName".

But I use the restful tool to send the request with param "projectName" and the url is "http://cdh-client:7919/kylin/api/jobs/overview?jobSearchMode=ALL&projectName=_null&timeFilter=1"
