   I'd like to work on this. Looks like the `AsyncToSync` call in the Databricks trigger/hook path is getting invoked from within an already-running event loop in the triggerer process, which is what's blowing up. I'll dig into the deferrable code path and put together a fix plus a regression test. Will open a PR shortly.
