I was not able to recreate the issue in Apache OpenOffice 4.1.1
AOO411m6(Build9775) - Rev.1617669 in Windows 7 Professional SP 1 (x64) Build
7601 on a MacBook Pro 11,3 (I7, 16GB) Bootcamp installation.

Testing carried out:
Execution:
Execution:

(with the presentation opened)

Method 1: As per Andre M 's report, F5 was used to enter the slideshow mode and
the slideshow navigated using the keyboard arrow keys and/or the 'ENTER' key.
No crash was observed

Method 2: As per bugtesterab the slideshow was opened using the menu, the
background selected and a right-click used to open the menu. Various
combinations of the functions in this menu were then used to navigate through
the presentation. No crash was observed when clicking on the back ground
(windows OS event viewer logs were also checked for error entries)

Method 3: Combining of the above methods. The slideshow was opened using
different variations of menu, shortcut keys and icons and navigated using
combination of Key board actions, mouse clicks, use of the menu opened from the
background as well as use of shortcut keys for some of its options (e.g. ALT+P,
ALT+N). No crash was observed (windows OS event viewer logs were also checked
for error entries)

Method 4: With multiple presentations opened, multiple presentations would be
placed into slideshow mode and navigated through (use ALT TAB to select a
different presentation to navigate through). No crash was observed (windows OS
event viewer logs were also checked for error entries)

Method 5: Combine method 4 with variations on creating - or attempting to
create - a presentation slide show timings, fade outs etc. No crash was
observed (windows OS event viewer logs were also checked for error entries)

Set up

- presentations were opened up by right click on file and select to 'Open With
' Open Office, opening the file from with Impress, or by selecting to open file
from the Open Office 4 initial screen

- presentations were opened either by themselves or with other presentations
already opened

- open office was closed and then restarted after testing against a
presentation

Source Files - sample file from the issue in .pptx(2009). Same file saved in MS
Office PowrPoint 2013 as .pptx. Other .pptx files from SlideShare. Files were
stored and accessed from the Windows Desktop, from the Downloads folder and/or
from an external USB stick
