   yes, its not advisable to run just indexer to 0.9.0 table directly.Would recommend upgrading to 0.11.1 or above and enable metadata table + other indexes in metadata table. 
   
   we don't have much exp w/ azure storage. but w/ hdfs, we know you could have some class conflicts. We have have a FAQ [here](https://hudi.apache.org/docs/faq#how-can-i-resolve-the-nosuchmethoderror-from-hbase-when-using-hudi-with-metadata-table-on-hdfs) on how to tackle that.
