EOL query for version - 2.8.4

Hello,

Currently I have a cluster setup having version - 2.8.4, I use YARN and HDFS to parallelly schedule jobs . It seems that this version has become End Of Life (hence is getting reported as a vulnerability), Can you suggest whether I need to upgrade to latest version and if yes then which would be latest stable version? Thanks.

Regards,
Smita

Hmm, but you will be still prone to security issues which were fixed in later releases.

The ones fixed in the hadoop code are mentioned here, (excluding the ones coming from thrirdparty libs, I suppose):

https://hadoop.apache.org/cve_list.html

Rest everything depends on your use case. :-)
