org.apache.commons.httpclient.AutoCloseInputStream performance

Hi All,

We are invoking webservice through httpclient and the call is successful,
the problem is reading the response from
org.apache.commons.httpclient.AutoCloseInputStream
 is taking time, this is leading to performance issues, is this because of
network issue or anything can be done about this programmitacily,
suggestions on this are welcome.
