Bigtop 3.2 would not offer bigtop-select rpms/debs ( will be built by Ambari side ),  but 3.2 release would include bigtop-select source code for Ambari which will checkout the source code of Bigtop-3.2 release and bigtop-select to rebuild Bigtop components RPMs to upgrade Ambari's own stack.

In other words, bigtop-select is only used for Ambari and Ambari just support centos currently. 
So it seems debian package is no more needed.
