The blueprint and deployer features need to be installed previously.
If you use the apache-karaf distribution, this should already be the case.
If you use the minimal distribution, you need to install them before installing your feature.

In addition, you can specify pre-requisites on blueprint and deployer features so that the installation of these features will be done automatically.
