HelloWorld service to use a JavaBean name to pass in the person's name
I been using the tutorial in the JavaWorld article "Clean up your wire
protocol with SOAP, Part 2: Use Apache SOAP to create SOAP-based
applications",
http://www.javaworld.com/javaworld/jw-04-2001/jw-0427-soap_p.html
The object is to modify the HelloWorld service to use a JavaBean name to
pass in the person's name that receives the hello message.
The code from Client2.java is generating a fault:
// Check the response.
if( !resp.generatedFault() )
Fault Code = SOAP-ENV:Client
Fault String = Deployment error in SOAP service 'urn:Hello':
class name ' org.apache.soap.encoding.soapenc.BeanSerializer'
could not be resolved as a
serializer: org/apache/soap/encoding/soapenc/BeanSerializer
I found an Apache Soap troubleshooting document at
http://xml.apache.org/soap/docs/trouble/
that this is generaly a deployment descriptor error. I used the command:
java org.apache.soap.server.ServiceManagerClient
http://localhost:8080/apache-soap/servlet/rpcrouter deploy
DeploymentDescriptor.xml
from the article and I looked into the soap.jar
and org/apache/soap/encoding/soapenc/BeanSerializer.class is there.
I lost for a solution.
