   I've done some performance tests to see if checkpoint interval limits the throughput and I am not seeing this happen. On a smallish kubernetes pod with parallelisms ranging from 1 to 5 I keep seeing around 1000 m/s throughput consistently using checkpoint intervals ranging from 50ms to 1000ms.
   
   What setup / messages / parallism did you use to test it? And just for the double check: Are you sure the latest version of the connector was used?
