[jira] [Created] (DIRSTUDIO-1073) We should be able to write an added AT or OC to the remote LDAP server after creation

Emmanuel Lecharny created DIRSTUDIO-1073:
--------------------------------------------

Summary: We should be able to write an added AT or OC to the remote LDAP server after creation
                 Key: DIRSTUDIO-1073
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DIRSTUDIO-1073
             Project: Directory Studio
          Issue Type: Improvement
    Affects Versions: 2.0.0-M9 (2.0.0.v20150606-M9)
            Reporter: Emmanuel Lecharny
             Fix For: 2.0.0-M10

If we open the Schema perspective, and connect to an existing remote LDAP server, we can add or modify some schema elements (AT and OC), but we can't write them back. We can only export the schema as a whole.

This is a painful limitation, as we have to post-process the extracted file to only inject the added elements.
