Jmeter ans session (URGENT PLEASE)

I want to test a web application on tomcat server.
I have to use an unique session id. I tried to use
modification manager and link parser but I don't know
how session varible use (jsession, sessionid) use.
Or, perhaps, I have to use cookie manager? How can I
made this session?
