Mainline and branch
When a branch is created, do the developers have to modify files on both mainline and branch while
fixing bugs? Just wondering if Subversion has a way to propagate the changes made to the branch
automatically to the mainline. TIA.

It does, but there are some caveats. Read up on merging in the SVN
book, available online.
