[VIRTUAL] MADlib Community Meeting - March 16

Hi all,

It’s time for the next MADlib Virtual Meeting on March 16th at 9AM PST!

This meeting will start with a 20-minute technology discussion topic,
followed by a contributor discussion and open Q&A.

20-minute Tech Talk: Apache MADlib on PostgreSQL

In this session, AJ Welch will discuss:

- Why Postgres extensions (such as MADlib) are so important
- A quick overview of how to find and install extensions using pgxn
- A demo analysis that leverages MADlib in isolation
- A demo analysis that leverages MADlib in conjunction with another
extension

About AJ Welch

AJ is a Data Engineer at the business intelligence and analytics company
Chartio. AJ recently moved to San Francisco from Boston where the weather
was a lot nicer. Prior to joining Chartio he worked as a consultant at
Peloton Group helping clients build data warehousing and BI solutions to
improve their analytic capabilities. In his free time AJ likes to run,
travel, and hang out with friends and family. He also likes to play a
little guitar but he will be keeping his day job for the foreseeable future.
