[DISCUSS] cordova-android@7.1.4 accelerated hotfix release coming
Does anyone have any reason to delay a cordova-android@7.1.4
accelerated hotfix release?
Any outstanding patches to land?
If not, I will start the release now.

I can recreate that issue when using the current mobilespec
instructions. I reported it in the CLI repository:
https://github.com/apache/cordova-cli/issues/362
But I am currently also working through the whole mobilespec project
(see the thread I created yesterday here) and will create several PRs
to fix the instructions.
If you _just_ want to have a working mobilespec project, use the
`--global` argument for `createmobilespec.js`. This uses the global
`cordova` and downloads the platforms and plugins from NPM, but it
creates a working app.

Hi Chris and Jan,
Recently I was working on mobilespec project for testing android platform.
But for past two patches I m not able to create mobilespec project
successfully which I made it work earlier after discussion with Jan on
Slack. While trying to create mobilespec project, I get the error trace as
mentioned in the link - https://imgur.com/a/jDHIlAB
You were able to build the project with latest code without any error? Am I
missing something? Please let me know

I just built and ran the mobilespec, with quite a bit of trial and
error, will report in issue 54 when I get a chance. I was able to get
most of the "automatic" mobilespec tests to succeed, but selecting 1
plugin at a time to run the tests on. I will go ahead with the patch
release now.
