[GitHub] incubator-ponymail issue #253: Bug: list name not normalised when imported

GitHub user sebbASF opened an issue:

Bug: list name not normalised when imported

import-mbox does normalise the list name - i.e. enclose it in <> if necessary - in all cases.

The archiver does do this, but does so before calling the common compute_updates method.

If the list name is passed as a parameter, then it will have been normalised.

However if the list name has to be obtained from the parsed email, then the list name is not normalised by import-mbox. Nor does the archiver.

It would make more sense for normalisation to be done in the common compute_updates
