Can you have mod_perl 1.26 with Apache 2.0.39?

Can you have mod_perl 1.26 with Apache 2.0.39?

I was unable to to install mod_perl from ports but was able to do a
pkg_install mod_perl 1.26. Seems to work now but now I have apache version
1.3.22 where I use to have 2.0.39. Is this because mod_perl 2.0 is meant for
apache 2 and is not compatible with 1.3.22? I can't find any compatibility
documentation.

No, you cannot mix these, see:

http://perl.apache.org/docs/2.0/user/help/help.html#Wrong_Apache_mod_perl_combination

Whenever you have a problem, remember to peruse the shortcuts menu on
the left side of all pages at perl.apache.org and one of the two
entries should save you (and us) a lot of time:

Report 1.0 Problems
Report 2.0 Problems
