Gobblin uses old hive 1.x.
Hive 2.x has significant changes and some incompatible/deprecated classes.
while hive 3.x is already in pipeline along with Hadoop 3.x, we should move to hive 2.x so user dont have to deal with manual fixes for their use of Gobblin. 

we should also update Hadoop libs from 2.3 to 2.7.7 at least which is very stable.
