Summary: code clean up (strncpy)
Product: Apache httpd-2
Version: 2.3-HEAD
Platform: All
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Keywords: PatchAvailable
Severity: trivial
Priority: P4
Component: All
AssignedTo: bugs@httpd.apache.org
ReportedBy: serai@lans-tv.com
The meaning of the 3rd argument of strncpy is not the buffer size but the
number of characters.
If they want to pass the buffer size to a string copy function, they should
use apr_cpystrn (, strlcpy or strcpy_s).
