Wondering if you are [setting {{CHARSET}} JDBC property|https://developer.teradata.com/doc/connectivity/jdbc/reference/current/jdbcug_chapter_2.html#URL_CHARSET] [~vishnoiprem]? The default is "ASCII" which means that any non-ascii characters will be converted to "?" in the Teradata JDBC driver even before Sqoop sees them.
