Representation advice for JSR 314

Hey Guys,

Martin Marinschek and I have been accepted as Apache EG representatives for JSR 314 [1]. I've been trying to follow the on going dialog to determine how that affects this JSR. I'd like to participate but respect that there is greater motives at work here. Please review and let us know if this is something that ASF chooses it represent.

Hi Andrew,

TCK is the official name for a test suite for compliance to a JSR
standard.

CTS is what Java EE call their TCK. The name predates the TCK
nomenclature.

JCK is what Java SE call their TCK. The name predates the TCK
nomenclature.

Well, according to the JCPA, the spec-lead should have annouced the licensing terms before the Review vote (now closed, and the ASF didn't vote), so you should just be able to send an email to the spec-lead to find them out, now that you are on the EG. From Intel's comment, it doesn't include FOU restrictions, but from IBM's comment it isn't all that favorable.
