Spool directory filling up

Hi,

I'm running James on a Novell NetWare server with a 1.3.1 JVM. Over the
past day or so, the spool directory for the forwarder transport is
filling up. Currently, I've got just over 1000 files totally 50 MB
sitting there.

Should these be there (me thinks not) ?

I had the same problem, but it's in the inboxes.
All the messages keep on the directory and the client can't retrieve emails.
An the logs James.Mailet grow up and grow up.......

Hi, I had the same problem. But I soon realized that my server has
been abused by a spammer sending thousands of mails. If your server
is not protected enough (relaying enabled) that could be a reason.
Just take a closer look at the mails in the spool-directory...

This is only a guess...
