[jira] Closed: (GERONIMO-364) Maven target to update 3rd party libs

Aaron Mulder closed GERONIMO-364:
---------------------------------

     Resolution: Won't Fix
    Fix Version: 1.0-M3

Tried an impleemntation with a single dependencies file to download everything. That stopped being viable due to different projects using different repositories and things. Now our hopes are on Jason fixing Maven to only download any given snapshot once per run, which would make the online build a lot more reasonable.

> It would be nice to have a maven target that does nothing but update any third-party libraries that have changed, so you could run that once and then do maven -o instead of having to run maven online and have it attempt to download the same libraries dozens of times each (and worse yet, if the build fails, you need to run online next time too because you never know if it got all the updates before it died).
