overriding/augmenting default goals

In the plugin.jelly file, the targets for prepare-bin-filesystem and
prepare-src-filesystem define all the files that go into a distribution.
In my project, there are some other files that I want included. How do
I do that?

It seems to me that what files are in a package is highly dependant on
the particular project and would expect that information to be in the
project.xml file or otherwise in the project repository. I don't want
to change plugin.jelly, as the change should be limited to a single
project. And really I don't want to rewrite the whole goal someplace,
but just augment the existing goal.

That worked excellent. Thanks.

something like a <preGoal name="theplugin:prepare-bin-filesystem"> or
<postGoal name="theplugin:prepare-bin-filesystem"> ?

Define them in your project's maven.xml and you've augmented the build.

There are no 'automatically' generated links in the navbar other than
"Project Documentation".

Everything else comes from xdocs/navigation.xml

xml files in xdocs, like httpclient/releases.xml ... maven finds it and
generates a html file (on the website now) but no automaticly generated
link to it in the navbar
