Latest incarnation of site update?

What is the current mechanism for getting the live web site to update
after committing the changes? There was some discussion of svnpubsub a
while ago, so at first I thought it might be magic, but nothing
happened. I waited an hour for an automatic update, but no luck. I
logged in to people@ and 'svn up'ed - nothing. Still nothing after
another hour. I even looked for instructions, but didn't find them
beyond what's in the README, which stops at committing the changes.
Now I'm stumped.

No, it went live just a few minutes ago. If your changes
are more than 90 min old they won't get picked up until
the daily sync runs in about 14 hours. If you don't
want to wait that long, touch whaetber files you want
synced.

Should I expect that it would be updated by now, then? My changes are
still not live.

We switched the hourly find script from ctimes to mtimes
to cut down on the rsync traffic by 10x. Since there have
been so many complaints about this I will switch it back now.

We've been seeing much longer site replication times in Commons - upto
19 hours - so perhaps that is what is happening.

You can use the proxy trick to view the site on people - just set the
proxy to 140.211.11.10:80.
