[jira] [Closed] (VCL-802) Failed Image Captures take up available reservations

Josh Thompson closed VCL-802.
-----------------------------
    Resolution: Invalid

Reservations in the maintenance or image state do not count toward a user's concurrent reservation count. It may be that this was caused by all available nodes being in failed imaging state, such that there were no nodes currently available on which to make a new reservation.

> Failed Image Captures take up available reservations

>
> Key: VCL-802
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/VCL-802
> Project: VCL
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: web gui (frontend)
> Affects Versions: 2.3.1
> Environment: Training Environment setup by Andy - 5.196 (IP)
> Reporter: Karl Vollmer
> Priority: Minor
>
> My user was only allowed 2 concurrent reservations, after 2 failed image captures when I go to create a new reservation it says that there are no available spots, and I must wait ~8hr (till the end of the previous reservations). If I go into the view schedule I can see the defunct reservations and remove it manually, then create new reservations.
> I would expect that failed image captures would either not count against my reservation allowance, or they would show up in the current reservations so that it can be deleted more easily (without digging)
